Performance/Senior Center Practice - this is for the small group that performs for several local skilled nursing facilities and the occasional special event. You must attend the rehearsal that month in order to perform with the group (and learn the songs if they're new) but everyone is welcome who wants to play!
Beginner's Night - this is for anyone who wants a little extra practice with our group leaders. Stuck on strums? Learning parts of songs? We'll tailor the evening to those who attend and what they'd like to work on. We're all here to get better!
Open Mic Night - another small group meeting where you can get up and practice soloing (alone or with collaborators). We'll be a very small group of enthusiastic fellow club members who will help you gain confidence in your playing!
New Song Night - just what it says; we'll learn one to three new songs per meeting to bring to the big group on Mondays. This is open for everyone who loves learning new songs and playing together.
UFC meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at 6pm. Check the calendar above for any cancellations or additional events. Typical evening jams go sort of like this:
6-6:30 beginner songs and warm-ups
6:30-7:30 open jamming
7:30-8pm tackling a new song
(or fixing an old one!)
